Internship Available

DAZ Foundation offers court-ordered classes in anger management, parenting, domestic violence, batterer's intervention, co-parenting, high conflict parenting, shoplifting and substance abuse.  We are located in West LA and Torrance. We are looking for Associate Social Workers, or MFT Interns, registered with BBSE, to learn Evidence Based Practices, and facilitate court-ordered classes. Individual, couples and family therapy opportunities also available.  Weekly group supervision with LCSW provided.

TLC MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER AGENCY Positions


LCSWs, MSWs and new MSW Graduates Welcomed!!!

Independent Contractors/Volunteers are needed to provide psycho-social assessments and medical social services to adult and /or geriatric population and homebound individuals;
Identify the needs of each client and develop an individualized treatment plan based on assessment findings;
Provide ongoing psychotherapy/counseling and support for homebound clients via individual hourly sessions and referrals for community resources as needed.
Serve as a liaison with the client’s family and community resources as needed;
Act as a liaison with these agencies to coordinate service delivery to meet the needs of the client;
Attend mandatory case management meetings;
Volunteers will attend weekly clinical supervision to accrue hours for LCSW licensure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. MSW/LCSW. Bi-lingual in any of the following languages is a strong plus but not required: Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Farsi, Russian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Chinese, Armenian, etc.

2. Understanding and knowledge of psycho-social assessments and medical social work through employment experience or internship.

3. Familiar with Microsoft Office and have basic computer literacy; have a laptop
