VA Program Analyst Temp


This is a GS-9 term/termporary (13 mos with the possibility of renewal) position.  This person would work with me, VASH and other CC managers on data projects.

The Veteran preference policy is in place; in previous rounds, only Veterans have made the CERTS.

Position Title:  Social Worker, Clinical II

Job Summary: 
Formulates and implements psychosocial treatment based on a sound integration of theory and practice for children and families with the most complex disabilities and associated problems. This requires extensive clinical knowledge and intervention skills.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, works with children with complex developmental disabilities including
autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders, and their parents. Conducts clinical assessments and
provides psychosocial support. Utilizes professional knowledge of the principles and practices of social
work to counsel patients, parents and families to help them make optimal use of resources.

Salary: Monthly $5,003 - $5,415
Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., M-F
Career position.
Must have or be willing to obtain a License in Social Work.
May work occasional evenings and weekends.
May be required to drive on occasion in order to perform the routine or essential job responsibilities for the position.
Must possess a valid California driver license and participate in the DMV Pull Notice Program
Final candidate subject to background check.

Early Child Assessment & Treatment Team

BE PART OF A DYNAMIC TEAM OF INFANT MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALISTS!

Staff Therapist
Licensed or registered mental health professional with specific training and experience working with children ages 0-5 years, including in-home services. Training in evidenced-based practices highly desired.  Spanish-speaking required.

Job responsibilities include providing therapy to children ages 0-5 and their families using evidence-based practices (i.e., CPP, MAP, TF-CBT, crisis intervention).  Therapist will be expected to provide a minimum of 50% of services in the community, including homes and preschools.  Reflective consultation is provided through biweekly team meetings.
