Volunteer Needed at Tower Cancer Research Foundation

We are looking for a graduate-level student to work at Tower Cancer Research Foundation to help with PR/marketing of Ronnie Lippin Cancer Information and Resource Line (RLCIRL), a free telephone/internet community outreach service to cancer patients living in LA County. RLCIRL was created in memory of Ronnie Lippin who died of a rare form of breast cancer. Funding was provided by the philanthropic donations of her family and friends.

We need someone to manage and develop facebook as a promotional tool to get exposure of RLCIRL to the LA cancer community, their families and friends.
We believe that our service is very useful and needed. RLCIRL provides direct contact with a medical social worker who assists cancer patients, family and friends with immediate support and referrals to cancer related information and resources.

In addition to having strong skills in using facebook, if possible we would like this individual to have skills in marketing/development for a non-profit organization.

My hours are M,Tu.,Th. F., 12:30-4:30 and W. 4:30-8:30, however, we could be flexible with the schedule, if needed. Volunteer position is open immediately.

Individuals interested should email me their resume and I will contact them.
