Family Services of Santa Monica Posting


Family Services of Santa Monica is seeking a Program Director.  This position has primary responsibility for the administrative function and the delivery of clinical service programs both at agency and in community.  This candidate will be familiar with a wide variety of effective clinical treatment options and be able to develop, implement and monitor those options in collaboration with agency leadership and supervisors.  This candidate will excel in organizational management and demonstrate the ability to manage staff, develop strategic objectives, manage the agency budget understand funding resources, contracts and development opportunities. This position requires the ability to market and team with community partners on behalf of the agency and its’ programs. This candidate will be an external local presence to build partnerships and establish relationships with the funders, political constituents and community leaders. 

The successful candidate will be a L.C.S.W., MFT or Licensed Psychologist with a minimum of 10 years’ experience; 4 of which have been in administration.  This candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills; have the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, have experience with public relations, and fundraising with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures. FSSM is looking for an administrator who is mission-driven, and self-directed with a passion, idealism to engage the community and support the agency.
