Please note the educational requirements of the job. All of these positions require computer skills and preferable experience working with an electronic records system.

Case Manager
BSW or MSW is required for this position.
Responsible for individual service coordination for clients enrolled in Phoenix House adult Transitional Housing and Residential Services, including supporting a successful transition back into the community. In collaboration with the Program staff, the Case Manager supports the successful integration of medical care, housing and income/ employment assistance, substance abuse treatment, and other services within individual treatment plans.

Recovery Specialist
Counselor Certification is required. 
The Recovery Specialist work in collaboration with the Social Worker Case Manager and develop, maintains the client’s treatment plan. S/He advocates recovery by serving as a personal guide/mentor for people seeking or in recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction and helping to remove barriers and obstacles to recovery. The Recovery Specialist also plans, implements and coordinates an array of comprehensive, individualized services for program participants and performs administrative work in support of the program.

Part-Time Overnight Counselor
The Overnight Counselor is responsible monitoring night time activities including during sleep periods and for assisting with morning supervision and activities; for the provision of clinical services to clients and their families, and for developing treatment plans and ongoing clinical documentation in the clinical management system. Prefer AA degree.  Registered for Counselor Certification


Part-time and per diem Counselors
The part-time Counselor is responsible for the provision of clinical services to clients and their families, and for developing treatment plans and ongoing clinical documentation in the clinical management system.
Performs primary counselor duties to clients and their families including screening and intake, psychosocial assessments; client and family orientation, development of treatment plans; crisis intervention; group, individual, family and didactic sessions; discharge summary and planning; case management and coordination of treatment services with probation, school and other referral sources.  Multi-lingual counselors may be asked to provide services in multiple languages to meet the needs of the clients and families.
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of client notes, charts, reports, and other documentation related to the treatment and progress notes, documentation of attendance and participation in-group, didactic and family sessions.  Documentation may include web-based, electronic and/or paper documents.

AA or higher degree in Behavioral Science (highly desired)
High school diploma or equivalence (required)
Counselor Certified or registered for Counselor Certification

Part-Time Driver
The Driver/Counselor is a counselor whose primary responsibilities involve operating a company vehicle in transporting residents and staff to community appointments.  Performs related support activities including recordkeeping and vehicle maintenance reporting.  Responsible for appropriate supervision of all passengers at all times.  As a counselor, s/he is also responsible for upholding the provision of clinical services to clients and their families.
High school diploma or equivalence (required)
