Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis Positions

IABA, a leader in the field of non-aversive behavior management, provides a variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Services provided include behavior management day services, supported employment, supported living, behavioral consultation and educational services. All employees receive Competency Based Training. Full time employees (30+ hours per week) are eligible for benefits, which include medical/dental, paid time off, group life insurance and 401K plan. Most positions require a functional vehicle, California Driver’s License, auto insurance, DMV report, fingerprints and CPR and First Aid Certifications.

DIRECT SERVICE POSITIONS

Behavior Respite Companion

High School Diploma, experience required. Respite behavior support in home for children with behavior challenges. Provide companionship, supervise, and monitor individuals. Afternoons, evenings, weekends/part time.

Sr. Behavior Respite Companion

BA degree in a related field and/or experience. Part of the management team. Reports to the BRS Supervisor. Primary contact for Behavior Respite Companions. On call coverage. Days/Hours vary. Full time.

Behavior Support Companion

AA degree in psychology or related field. One year training and experience in providing companion services in an educational setting to individuals with developmental or physical disabilities. Provide non-aversive behavior management. Days/ hours vary.

Community Support Companion

AA degree or related experience. One year training and experience in providing services to individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities. Help people develop necessary independent living skills. Days, evenings, overnight, weekends/ full or part time.

Sr. Community Support Companion

BA degree in a related field and/or experience. Part of the management team. Reports to SCIP Supervisor. Primary contact for Community Support Companions. On call coverage. Days, evenings, overnights, weekends/full time.

Employment Specialist

AA/BA degree or related experience Support individuals at place of employment and in the community. Days/Full time.

Instructional Companion

AA or relevant experience in psychology Education or a related field. Education in implementing one-to-one discrete trial instruction. Days/Part time.

Behavior Analyst-Assistant

BA in psychology or related field, and 2 year clinical/behavioral experience. Assist Senior Behavior Analyst with assessment and consultation for children and adults with a developmental disability. Full/Part Time

MANAGEMENT SUPPORT POSITION

BEHAVIOR CONSULTANT

Conduct behavior assessments and consultation to children and adolescents w/a developmental disability. Services are provided in group homes & community. MA in Psychology, ABA, or related field, and 2 yrs of clinical/behavioral exp, or current progress toward Masters (currently enrolled in a program) and 3-5 years exp. . Part-Time/Full Time. $25+/hr.

YOUTH SERVICE MANAGER – EIIS

MS or MA in Psychology, Social Work, Education or Applied Behavior Analysis. Two years work experience working with children with autism utilizing the techniques of applied behavior analysis, specifically discrete trial training. Special interest given to candidates with supervisory experience. Full Time/Days

SCIP– Supervisor

BA in a related field and two years experience working with persons with a developmental disability. Supervisory experience in the field of human services is preferred. Supervises the implementation of the written Service Design to provide services for adults with developmental disabilities in the community and in their homes. Days & some evenings and weekends/Full Time.
